Had a fantastic getaway with friends! We explored the beautiful Peak District and visited local attractions, which were all within walking distance. The rooms were cozy and well-furnished, making it easy to relax after a long day. Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of choice and excellent quality. Be sure to ask for the fresh fruit options.
Our experience was slightly marred by some issues with housekeeping in our room. I noticed cobwebs and black mould behind the curtains and there was no light bulb in the bedside lamp when we arrived. It would be great if the management paid more attention to these details.

The room was clean and warm during a cold February stay, providing a comfy bed and an excellent tea selection. The friendly hosts offered a thoughtful vegan breakfast option and fruit tea, enhancing my solo retreat. there were minor cleanliness concerns in the bathroom, and the host's demeanor felt slightly aloof at times, which dampened the experience. it was a pleasant stay with room for improvement in attention to detail.

Perfect for a getaway with your partner
I loved how they provided a brilliant breakfast service! The scrambled eggs were superb! ! Plus, Rupert gave us some great recommendations for nearby eateries that really added to our experience.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but I think it was worth every penny.
